  • As the anchor partner of SG Women in Tech (SGWIT), NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB) supported the ‘SHE Supports Friendship Circles x Ladies in Cybersecurity’ event in collaboration with NTUC U Women and Family and the Association of Information Security Professionals. Bringing together over 100 women, the event featured speakers and mentors who shared their journeys, fostering connections and opportunities in cybersecurity.
  • NTUC LHUB and GoImpact Capital Partners unveiled plans to launch Sustainability-focused Micro Learning Modules on the NTUC LearningHub Learning eXperience Platform (LXP), along with face-to-face training in 2025, to meet the growing demand for green skills.
  • As part of the Healthcare Academy (HCA), NTUC LHUB announced a collaboration with the National Healthcare Group (NHG) through the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) at the 'Healthcare Symposium: Shaping the Future of Healthcare Workforce' to equip over 20,000 NHG healthcare professionals with essential skills in artificial intelligence, sustainability, and workplace safety.
  • Graced by Guest of Honour South East Community Development Council Mayor Fahmi Aliman, NTUC LHUB held its first Relaunch event at Heartbeat@Bedok as the anchor partner of the Relaunch Initiative, supporting women in re-entering the workforce and transitioning into tech careers with insights into the evolving tech landscape, in-demand skills, and training resources.
  • NTUC LHUB was appointed as the anchor partner of the new Relaunch Initiative with SGWIT to collaborate with industry and communities in supporting women’s return to tech through four key pillars: Tech Upskilling, Career Coaching, Mentoring, and a Jobs Board.
  • NTUC LHUB has partnered with AWS to integrate their free courses onto LXP, providing easy access to key tech topics such as cloud financial management, machine learning, developer tools, storage, security, and more.

  • NTUC LHUB and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to shape the future of sustainable tourism in Singapore by equipping industry professionals with globally recognised skills through tailored courses for MICE, Attractions, and Travel.
  • NTUC LHUB signed an MoU with Databricks to offer accessible training and certifications in Data and AI, empowering individuals at any stage of their careers.
  • Witnessed by Minister for Health and Grassroots Adviser to Sembawang GRC, Mr Ong Ye Kung, NTUC LHUB and NTUC's Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) signed an MoU at the e2i Career & Skills Fair @ Sembawang to equip the workforce with in-demand skills and improve access to jobs and skills advisory at NTUC LHUB sales centres.
  • NTUC LHUB signed an MoU with the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) at the NATAS Travel Fair 2024 to launch the Certified Travel Professional (CTP) programme, a first-of-its-kind certification to equip professionals with in-demand skills for Singapore’s competitive travel sector.
  • NTUC LHUB and TÜV SÜD celebrated the first batch of learners in Vietnam who completed a joint training programme, equipping the workforce with skills in workplace literacy, creative design thinking, leadership, sustainability, and ISO standards, including TÜV SÜD’s Certification in Business Sustainability Management to meet industry demands for sustainability transformation.
  • Mr Amos Tan, Chief Core Skills Officer of NTUC LHUB, shared insights on bridging the skills gap to enhance the competitiveness of Singapore’s logistics trade at the Supply Chain Learning Festival 2024 hosted by ST Logistics.
  • NTUC LHUB signed an MoU with Constellar Venues to nurture emerging capabilities in the MICE industry. In collaboration with Constellar, the managing operator of Singapore EXPO and a pilot stakeholder for the sector, NTUC LHUB will offer implementation-led courses and workshops focused on service experience and delivery excellence through the Service Experience Excellence Academy.
  • NTUC LHUB celebrated 20 years of transforming lives through lifelong learning at its anniversary dinner, attended by esteemed clients, partners, trainers, LHUBBERS, and Guest-of-Honour Mr Ng Chee Meng, Secretary-General of NTUC. The event featured engaging pre-dinner activities by strategic partners from sectors such as sustainability, technology, healthcare, retail, and food services, showcasing their innovation and collaboration with NTUC LHUB.
  • NTUC LHUB partnered with Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) to launch the One Sentosa Transformation and Equipping Platform (1-STEP), offering customised training in areas like customer experience, wellness, regenerative tourism, sustainability, and artificial intelligence to upskill workers from nearly 200 establishments on Sentosa.
  • NTUC LHUB collaborated with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to enhance the skills and employability of tourism professionals by co-developing courses in emerging areas such as sustainability, service excellence, and technology.
  • NTUC LHUB partnered with PERSOLKELLY Consulting to bring a suite of training courses to Vietnam, addressing the growing demand for advanced technical skills and leadership capabilities to drive innovation and workforce competitiveness in the country’s dynamic business environment.
  • As part of NTUC LHUB's 20th anniversary celebrations, 22 LHUBBERS participated in our 'Bloody Good Job' event, making donations that can each save up to three lives. Following the donations, they enjoyed a lively claw machine game with sure-win prizes and tasty refreshments, celebrating the community heroes who made a difference that day.
  • As part of the Healthcare Academy, NTUC LHUB collaborated with the Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE), Healthcare Services Employees’ Union (HSEU), and NTUC's e2i to equip migrant domestic workers with the skills to enhance their caregiving roles for families with elderly members.
  • In honor of Labour Day and our 20th anniversary, NTUC LHUB organised the month-long ‘Celebrate Each Other’ initiative. LHUBBERS sent e-cards to spread kindness and appreciation to one another, recognising the invaluable contributions and hard work that keep NTUC LHUB moving forward.

  • With NTUC Deputy Secretary-General, Desmond Tan as the Guest-of-Honour, NTUC LHUB signed an MoU with Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL) and NTUC's e2i, marking our shared commitment to skills training and creating tangible career opportunities for our workers.
  • As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations and to welcome Chinese New Year, NTUC LHUB held the ‘Share It Forward’ event where 60 volunteers packed and went door-to-door to deliver goodie bags containing essential household items to the less fortunate elderly in Ghim Moh.
  • In partnership with BYD, NTUC LHUB launched the ‘NTUC LearningHub and BYD Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Simulation Centre’ which was officially inaugurated by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, and Ministry of Transport, Dr Amy Khor. This centre aims to simulate a real EV maintenance and servicing environment, thereby bridging the gap for trained professionals in Singapore. It will therefore augment NTUC LHUB’s EV courses, including the National EV Specialist Safety Certification, and WSQ Hybrid/EV Maintenance and Servicing courses.
  • In collaboration with GoGoX and the National Delivery Champions Association (NDCA), NTUC LHUB will curate a one-day training programme to bridge skills gaps and empower driver-partners through better customer service, making them an integral part of the increasingly digital economy.
  • NTUC LHUB launched the ‘NTUC LearningHub Tech Talent Academy’ (NTUC LHUB TTA) at our ‘Embracing Human-Tech Collaboration in our Digital Future’ event which aims to bridge the gap between demand for tech talent and skills aggregation, through sourcing, training, and placement of workers in an integrated ecosystem. NTUC LHUB also launched the ‘X for Everyone’ series of courses under the NTUC LHUB TTA to give all workers access to acquire foundational tech skills and knowledge that are essential at the workplace. Additionally, NTUC LHUB introduced our sector brand identity for tech, ‘NTUC LearningHub for Tech’, to reinforce our commitment to the tech sector and continual efforts to champion a culture of lifelong learning.
2023
  • NTUC LHUB held its first Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Conference, titled 'Integrating Absolute Worker Health: Cultivating Healthier and Safer Workplaces’. Industry experts presented a series of talks to keep WSH professionals informed about the latest trends and developments in the field.
  • NTUC LHUB launched the brand identity 'NTUC LearningHub for Workplace Safety and Health' as part of our ongoing pursuit of new initiatives to drive skills training and lifelong employability in the WSH space across sectors.
  • To support the Malay Muslim workforce in skills development, NTUC LHUB signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) at the Jobs & Skills Carnival @ South East event.
  • NTUC LHUB and the Tourism Management Institute of Singapore (TMIS) have forged a partnership to launch six exciting new courses aimed at uplifting Singapore’s tourism sector. With a focus on sustainability, holistic wellness, regenerative tourism, digital technology, and more, these courses will help upskill and reskill tourism professionals. At the launch event, the ‘NTUC LearningHub for Tourism’ sector brand identity was unveiled to champion skills training and workforce development in the tourism industry.
  • NTUC LHUB was the first Continuing Education and Training provider in Singapore to partner with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) to offer relevant training programmes in cybersecurity, starting with the launch of the 'Cyber Awareness for Employees Workshop’.
  • As a key player in the NTUC Training and Placement Ecosystem, NTUC LHUB participated in the inaugural NTUC Company Training Committee (CTC) Symposium, which highlighted key outcomes of CTCs in help companies drive business and workforce transformation plans, and recommendations arising from the NTUC #EveryWorkerMatters Conversations.
  • NTUC LHUB was appointed as one of the training partners by the Infocomm Media Development Authority to grow and nurture Information and Communications talent in areas including Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, as part of the Jobs Transformation Map (JTM).
  • The Healthcare Academy, a collaboration between HSEU, NTUC's e2i and NTUC LHUB, partnered with the National University Health System (NUHS) to launch the NUHS Academy, where NTUC LHUB will provide training to upskill NUHS’ workforce.
  • In partnership with Hikvision Singapore, NTUC LHUB was the appointed training provider to deliver cutting-edge Hikvision Certified Security Associate (HCSA) Certification courses, covering topics such as CCTV, Video Management Software, Access Control, Thermal Design Tools, and Maintenance.
  • In collaboration with ServiceNow, a leading global digital workflow company, NTUC LHUB introduces digital skills courses to the Singaporean workforce, commencing with the ‘Citizen Development by ServiceNow’ course.
  • NTUC LHUB embarked on a partnership with the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS) to roll out Singapore's first sustainability-focused MICE and event professional certification programme.
  • As part of NTUC’s Training and Placement ecosystem, NTUC LHUB signed a MoU with the Advanced Manufacturing Employees’ Union (AMEU), alongside other partners such as NTUC’s e2i, Bosch Rexroth, and Nanyang Polytechnic. Under the MoU, NTUC LHUB will provide consultation to AMEU’s unionised companies on their training needs.
  • The NTUC LearningHub Retail Institute (LHUB Retail Institute) was officially launched by Mr Ng Chee Meng, Secretary-General, National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), at the ‘Retail Reimagined: Insights and Innovations to Ride the Waves of Transformation’ event. The LHUB Retail Institute aims to uplift Singapore’s retail sector and help the industry to retain, nurture, and attract talent. During the event, NTUC LHUB signed a MoU with seven leading organisations in Singapore’s retail sector to develop a progressive career development plan aligned with the Jobs Transformation Map for Retail.
  • NTUC LHUB unveiled our sector branding for retail, ‘NTUC LearningHub for Retail’, to reinforce NTUC LHUB’s commitment to the retail sector and our continual efforts to champion a culture of lifelong learning.
  • In support of Workforce Singapore’s Jobs Transformation Map (JTM) for Retail and the Jobs Skills Integrator for Retail (JSIT-R) launch, NTUC LHUB and the establishment of the LHUB Retail Institute reinforces our position as the key training partner to bridge the gap in skills aggregation.
  • Mr Jeremy Ong, CEO of NTUC LHUB, has been recognised as one of Singapore's Top 10 Leaders in Professional Training and Coaching by CEO Insights Asia magazine. In his interview with CEO Insights, Jeremy discussed how he is leveraging his experience in technology to create digital and workplace transformation strategies that champion continuous learning.
  • In partnership with UOB, NTUC LHUB had the pleasure of hosting Ms Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Law, to officiate the launch of the ‘Inclusive Customer Experience – Making a Difference for Persons Living with Dementia’ training programme. With support from the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), NTUC’s e2i and unions, the programme aims to equip frontline banking employees with the skills to better serve customers living with dementia and caregivers.
  • NTUC LHUB and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) embarked on a new partnership to support event professionals with skills development opportunities. This includes the introduction of the Digital Event Strategist certification course and Technical Meeting & Event Production certificate course which are internationally recognised professional courses and are designed to help event professionals acquire relevant skills to thrive in the business events industry.
  • NTUC LHUB, together with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), education institutions, as well as financial and technology firms, have signed an agreement to form an artificial intelligence and data analytics (AIDA) consortium to facilitate collaboration in developing a strong talent pool in AIDA for the financial sector.
  • NTUC LHUB and the Academy Division of TÜV SÜD in Singapore jointly launched a new stackable ISO credential pathway, leading to industry-recognised and job-ready Professional Certifications in Business Sustainability Management ISO Standards for Facility and Cybersecurity.
  • In establishing thought leadership and offering counsel across industries, we have embarked on branding key sectors to champion a movement for each one of them. Starting with sustainability, NTUC LHUB unveiled the sector branding for the sector titled ‘NTUC LearningHub for Sustainability’ signifying our commitment to driving skills training and continued employability for the sector.
  • NTUC LHUB announced a partnership with the Academy of Security, Intelligence and Risk Studies to co-develop a suite of new security training programmes catering to the specific needs of security professionals in both public and private sectors in areas such as Crime Prevention Studies, Corporate Security Management Studies, and Supply Chain Security Studies.
  • NTUC LHUB was appointed as the Continuing Education & Training Centre for the Infocomm Technology (ICT) sector by SkillsFuture Singapore.
  • NTUC LHUB and the Academy Divison of TÜV SÜD in Singapore signed an agreement to signify our commitment toward nurturing a workforce to support Singapore’s sustainability goals.

  • NTUC LHUB has signed a MoU with private healthcare provider IHH Healthcare Singapore’s (IHH SG) training arm, Parkway College, with the aim to co-develop accredited, certifiable training programmes to help create career opportunities for Singaporeans in the healthcare sector.
  • NTUC LHUB launched our first-ever Social Impact Report to reflect on our journey in championing lifelong learning and creating better opportunities for our workers in Singapore.
  • NTUC LHUB signed a MoU with public transport operator SBS Transit Ltd in December, with the aim to support the latter in attracting, developing retaining talent through learning and development.
  • Singapore’s Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and NTUC's e2i, partnered with NTUC LHUB to introduce the SkillsFuture@NS Learning eXperience Platform to offer personalised learning and skills upgrading to support full-time national servicemen as they transition to higher education or employment.
  • NTUC LHUB was appointed as an approved training organisation delivering courses on Critical Core Skills (CCS) by SkillsFuture Singapore.

  • NTUC LHUB signed a MoU with SkillsFuture Singapore and Institute of Adult Learning in July to provide opportunities for continuous professional development of adult educators (AEs), and strengthen NTUC LHUB’s Career Agility Hub as a platform for AEs to build up their skills and career portfolio.
  • NTUC LHUB signed a MoU with TikTok in February to launch the TikTok-endorsed Design Thinking for Social Media programme targeted at helping micro-businesses and freelancers in Singapore connect with audiences through engaging social media content creation.
  • NTUC LHUB and ST Logistics (STL) renewed a MoU in February to signify our continued partnership in fostering a conducive environment for lifelong learning and equipping STL employees with relevant competencies.
2021
  • The NTUC LearningHub Learning eXperience Platform (LXP) was launched during the NTUC Ordinary Delegates’ Conference. As a one-stop online learning mobile application, LXP will be a key enabler for workers and companies to upskill and reskill as part of the nation’s move towards lifelong learning to stay relevant and competitive.
  • NTUC LHUB launched the ‘Agritech Lab @ Benoi’ to support workers’ skills training in the emerging industry by grooming a new generation of ‘green-collared’ workforce.
  • Together with NTUC U SME, UOB’s innovation accelerator The FinLab, and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, NTUC LHUB launched the SME Digital Reboot programme to help companies deepen their digital capabilities.
  • NTUC LHUB opened another training centre at the Lifelong Learning Institute in Paya Lebar in support of the increasing training demands and making training more accessible.
2020
  • NTUC LHUB partnered with world-leading online learning provider, Go1, to launch over 100 free handpicked courses during the ‘Circuit Breaker’ period.
  • Partnering with SkillsFuture Singapore, NTUC LHUB played a key role in supporting training to help workers and companies during the pandemic.
2018
  •  NTUC LHUB launched settling-in programmes for foreign and domestic workers to educate them on safety precautions and employment rights in Singapore.
  • NTUC LHUB aligned itself to the Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs) for 23 sectors and formed the Institute of Business Excellence to help companies excel in leadership, business, process and service performance.
  • Adopted the Tripartite Standards on four employment aspects - Term Employment, Recruitment Practices, Flexible Work Arrangement and Grievance Handling.
  • Awarded Singapore Quality Class Star (Service and Innovation) by Enterprise Singapore.

  • NTUC LHUB expanded operations with an additional training facility in Aljunied to support the learning needs of workers in  WSH.

  • NTUC LHUB opened the Industry Skills Centre in Benoi to offer an optimal mix of theoretical and practical learning.
  • NTUC rolled out the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) to enable workers to achieve wage increases through better skills and higher productivity. NTUC LHUB has trained over 70,000 security and cleaning workers in the PWM framework.

  • The Skills Programme for Upgrading and Resilience (SPUR), an initiative by the tripartite partners, was rolled out to help workers transition into new job scopes in preparation for the economic recovery.
  • Together with NTUC, NTUC LHUB trained over 100,000 displaced workers under SPUR to take up new jobs in hiring sectors.

  • WSQ was launched as a portable skills currency in Singapore, where NTUC LHUB supported the launch with a wide range of WSQ courses.

  • NTUC LHUB was corporatised to help workers build skills beyond basic computer knowledge through engaging, meaningful and convenient training.
1998
  • The NTUC Computer Training Centre supported NTUC in the Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) to job-match and retrain 20,000 workers during the Asian Financial Crisis.
  • Lt. Col Lee Hsien Loong (pictured) visited and attended a training session at the NTUC Computer Training Centre.
