Pre-requisites
- WPL – Level 5 for reading, speaking, listening and writing
- Be able to use basic functions of a computer
- Have interest in learning new knowledge and a willingness to learn a new skill

This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from https://zoom.us/download

Course Outline
Interpret the Environmental Public Health Act (EPHA) in relation to Environmental Sanitation (ES) regime
- Understand the objectives and significance of the Environmental Sanitation (ES) regime
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of Environmental Control Coordinators (ECCs)
- Incorporate knowledge on industry best practices on Indoor Quality Air management system into the ES regime
- Overview of infectious diseases, infection prevention and control
- Acquire in-depth knowledge in General Cleaning and Disinfection
- Define an effective Pest Control Management system
- Develop and implement the ES regime at premises
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Certificate of Completion (Electronic Certificate) from NTUC LearningHub
- Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
Important Note: Attending and passing the ECC course will not automatically lead to a successful registration as an ECC with the National Environment Agency.

- Should your premises fall under the specified premises mandated for the Environmental Sanitation Regime, you will be receiving or would have received a notification letter from your Sectoral Lead and/or NEA.
