Upon successful completion of the RTT course you can apply for roles like senior security officer or security guard. Moreover, when you upskill by attending this security course, you will be eligible to take advantage of the Progressive Wage Model for the Security Sector. Course Objectives

At the end of this course, participant will be able to:

Describe contemporary terrorist threats
Identify person-borne threats
Identify vehicle-borne threats
Identify object-based threats

Pre-requisites

The admission requirements are:

Read, write and speak English at WPL Level 4
Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
Act in a professional manner
Observe confidentiality
Be vigilant at all times
Physical and medical requirement
- Certified by a medical doctor to be physically fit for work
- Must not be colour-blind or hearing impaired
Hardware & Software requirements:
This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must own a zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from https://zoom.us/download

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as SEC-OBS-1002-1.1 Threat Observation.

Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria

Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

UTAP:

This course is eligible for the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.
