Learning Unit 1: Understanding Remote Surveillance Systems

Learning Outcome 1 (LO1): Develop skills to operate and troubleshoot remote surveillance equipment

Learning Outcome 2 (LO2): Gain knowledge about different types and uses of surveillance cameras

Learning Unit 2: Performing Remote Surveillance Monitoring

Learning Outcome 3 (LO3): Acquire practical skills in performing remote CCTV surveillance monitoring

Learning Outcome 4 (LO4): Understand the different augmented analytics abilities used in remote surveillance systems.

Pre-requisites

The following prerequisites are required for the course:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English at WPL Level 3.
  • Ability to read content displayed on a computer monitor and have clear vision at a distance.
  • Basic skills in operating a computer.
  • Smartphone with an internet connection and QR code scanner function (this will be used during the POLWEL assessment).

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria
